Page of Swords

A much lighter card than the other court Swords, the page takes a very different approach to problems. Rather than charge or take them head on, he prefers the higher ground, to watch and observe, to detach himself.

In a reading, this card is likely to appear when you are facing a problem or a dilemma. In effect, you have a choice - either to embrace the problem or to detach yourself. The latter course may work when an easygoing approach is best, but will be harder to maintain for more difficult issues.

It can also represent a person involved in your situation, again yourself or another, probably young or young at heart. They could have detached themselves from the situation.
