10 of Wands

The tens signify movement. Combined with Wands, the suit of action, this can lead to taking on too much and also endless conflict.

Here we see the results, a man struggling under a burden. Nothing else exists for him but the wands he is carrying. He has so much on the go that he is weighed down by it all. He resembles the urban dweller trapped by all those responsibilities.

Fire people do not plan all these responsibilities, they just seem to grow up around them until one day they suddenly feel trapped.

And this in essence is the Wands' problem. They take on new things without thinking.

In readings is can be a sign that you are pushing yourself too hard. You need to lighten up for your own good. It can also signify a person taking the lion's share of responsibility in a relationship. The person has taken these burdens on themselves. Having made the situation, they need to take a step back and find a way out.

Reversed, it can mean many things. The burden so heavy that the person collapses under it. It could mean the person has thrown off the burdens. In the latter case, has been a positive release or simply throwing the wands out of the pram?
